Hi Jim,
I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the terrific job you did on debugging our PC. I am still trying to adjust to having it respond in a heartbeat or two instead of dragging itself along, popping up junk screens and error messages, and locking up regularly. The only other time it ran this well was right after we bought it 4+ years ago. Since then it had gotten slower and slower, with more and more small things cropping up, but I dreaded taking it into a shop I didn't know to have it worked on. However, during the last month it had gotten so bad that I knew we were very close to disaster, and it was either replace it or fix it immediately.
There are three criteria that are very critical to me when hiring anyone to work on something - honesty, ability, and cost - and you met every one. You did a great job of fixing a real mess, and the cost was more than fair as well as worth every penny. I also want to say that I greatly appreciated your patience with answering my many questions on the problems we had and how to prevent them in the future. Although there is still a long way to go in my PC education, I feel a whole lot less ignorant now!
